Dear Parishioners:

Please join me in welcoming to our parish Jacob Bearer, a First-Year Seminarian at St. Mary Seminary. From St. Mary Parish in Painesville, Jacob has been placed here at St. Basil the Great as part of his Field Education requirements for our seminary formation program. Jacob will join us by living at the parish for two weeks, beginning August 6. He’ll be introducing himself at our weekend Masses on August 7 and 8. Once the seminary begins their classes in late August, he will return weekly to St. Basil to be active in various aspects of parish life. Let’s welcome him and certainly assure him of our prayers!
