Welcome! The mission of
Basil The Great Children’s Liturgies is to provide a Liturgy
relevant to the lives and experiences of children. Our aim
is to provide the opportunity for children to understand
the Gospel message and to fully participate in the Eucharistic
celebration.
 |
“Let the children come to me! Don’t try to stop
them.
People who are like these little children belong
to the kingdom of God.”
(MK 10:14) |
There are many fun and enriching
ways parents and kids (in grades K through 8) can be involved.
These include:
-
signing up to participate
in an upcoming liturgy;
-
singing in the Children’s
Choir (contact
St. Basil Children's Music Minister at 440-526-1686);
-
joining the Children’s
Liturgy planning committee (contact
Robin Youngs at 440-526-1686); and
-
organizing activities
hosted by the
Family Matters Ministry. These events often take
place immediately following the Children’s Liturgies.
(Contact Robin
for more information.)
