Welcome! The mission of  Basil The Great Children’s Liturgies is to provide a Liturgy relevant to the lives and experiences of children. Our aim is to provide the opportunity for children to understand the Gospel message and to fully participate in the Eucharistic celebration.

There are many fun and enriching ways parents and kids (in grades K through 8) can be involved. These include:

  • click here to see a description of how this Webpage can help you participate, or use the icons to the right!

  • signing up to participate in an upcoming liturgy;

  • singing in the Children’s Choir (contact St. Basil Music Minister at 440-526-1686);

  • joining the Children’s Liturgy planning committee (contact Robin Youngs at 440-526-1686); and

  • organizing activities hosted by the Family Life Activities Group (FLAG). These events often take place immediately following the Children’s Liturgies. (Contact Fran Schrader at .)

Help make Mass more meaningful – and fun -- for the children of St. Basil’s parish. Get involved in Basil The Great Kids today!

“Let the children come to me! Don’t try to stop them. People who are like these little children belong to the kingdom of God.” (MK 10:14)
