Online Groups (formerly called e-mail distribution lists) allow members who participate together in a Ministry to communicate with each other.  Most groups today use this for obtaining a substitute for a particular Mass.  Other discussions and information can be shared as well.  For example, if there are new rules on the care, washing and storage of the vessels used during Holy Communion, this information can be shared with the group all at one time. 

St. Basil takes advantage of the free Online Group service, known as Google Groups, to manage its Online Groups.  You need to provide no more than your email address in the appropriate box below, press Subscribe, and after a short authorization period (usually 1 business day), you can be online with your Ministry.  Your email does NOT have to be a Google email address to use this service.  Any valid email address will work. 

Once authorized, you can then send emails to your respective group, and it will be shared with all others in your Group.

For more features, you can choose to sign-up for Web Access to the Online Group, by following the appropriate 'Visit this group' link below.  On the Web, all email correspondence shows up as Posts to the website.  Posts made right on the website are emailed to all members.  You can also post files for the entire Group (e.g. a PDF describing the Server rules) and even build webpages that only your group will have access to.
