Registration
- Students new to the
program can be registered using the PDF form or by calling
440-526-3520.
- Re-registration
forms for all students, including choice of day for grades 1-8, are
mailed in late July. The choice forms are processed on a first-come
basis.
- Children of
non-parishioners will be accepted if space is available.
Sunday Pre-School Program
Classes for children ages 4 & 5 are held on Sunday during
the 10:30am Mass. To enroll in an age group, a child must be that age
by September 1st of the current year. The curriculum conforms to
diocesan religion readiness guidelines and is age-appropriate to the
child’s stage of faith development.
Grades 1-8
Sessions are held on Monday and Tuesday from 6:30-7:45pm,
Tuesday from 4:45-6:00pm, and Sunday from 10:30-11:50am. (grades 1 &
2) Grades 3-8 have the option of participating in small groups taught
in the home or working independently with one’s parent(s). A two week,
thirty hour summer program for grades 4-8 is offered in June.
Grades 9-12
Students meet on the second Sunday of the month,
September through April, and the first Sunday in May. They gather in
the Parish Center at 10:00am for announcements, and then go to grade
level classes until 11:50am. The curriculum teaches how to apply the
basic principles of the Catholic faith to one’s daily life.
Confirmation is
celebrated in tenth grade. The preparation process is separate from PSR,
and is outlined at a parent/candidate meeting in the fall. Students
need to have attended PSR or a Catholic high school in ninth grade.
Vacation Bible School
The theme of this week-long program for 4-10 year olds
changes each year. Through stories, skits, crafts, and song, children
are reminded of God’s continuous care for them.
